Soundike is very retro looking site, funky colours, floating boxes, fading images, it's just all round groovy. Tracks will cost you 15¢ each, a little bit more than LegalSounds, but still amazingly cheap! The site can be a bit confusing if you've not used it before, but once you've been on there for five minutes, it's one of the easiest to use.
Up-To-Date?
The homepage on Soundike is very up-to-date, they have all the latest New Releases, Hot Additions, Bestsellers of the Week, Just Added, Greatest Albums and Charts. There is loads to look at, loads to browse through, but it doesn't look too cluttered or too busy.
Music Selection
Soundike have over 1,220,830, not quite as much as LegalSounds, but still an impressive number.
Sign-Up
Registering with Soundike is really easy, you just need to give them your name and email address and you're ready to go. After sign up, you will receive 30¢ credit to your account (the same as MP3va) which is enough for two songs so you can test their service out before adding any of your own hard-earned money!
Top-Up
Top ups to Soundike are the lowest of all the sites I have reviewed, other than MP3va, at just $15.00. This will still last you a while though when you think about how much tracks cost!
Payments
Soundike accept Visa or MasterCard as payment methods. Not a great deal of choice, but at least they are common payment methods! The site is very secure too, so I felt fine about giving these guys my card details!
Offers
Soundike give you a percentage of your top up back when you add the following amounts; Top up $30.00 to get $10.00 for free or top up $50.00 to get $35.00 for free.
My Opinion
I like Soundike, I love the design, the colours, the floating boxes, I think it's very quirky. I love the minimum top up amount being so low, doesn't make me feel so bad for spending money on music. These are the most up-to-date site, they have the new releases before anyone else, and their library is growing all the time.
